Our Eastside Educational Campus . . .
Eastside High School (or EHS) is a four year public high school in Paterson, New Jersey, United States, that serves the eastern section of Paterson. EHS, which serves grades 9 through 12, is a part of the Paterson Public Schools.
Eastside High School opened on February 1, 1926. The school mascot is the Ghost.
Paterson Eastside High is famous for its renaissance in the mid1980s under the leadership of then-Principal Joe Clark. The school and Joe were the subject of the 1989 film "Lean on Me", starring Morgan Freeman.
